Brian Hernandez currently works on the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) Knowledge, Data, Learning and Training (KDLT) project, using his audiovisual (AV) expertise to ensure that virtual events run as smoothly as possible. He also assists on a variety of Bixal projects with his audio recording, video editing and virtual event tech-support skills.
Originally from Silver Spring, Md., Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in audio production from The Art Institute of Washington. He also holds a Biamp TesiraFORTÉ Certification, a Mersive Technologies Solstice Certification and Audinate Dante Level 1 and Level 2 Certifications and a Digital Event Strategist Certification. Before joining Bixal, Brian worked as an AV/information technology project manager and technical supervisor in the events services, hospitality and coworking real estate industries. Outside of work, he enjoys producing music, playing the piano, song writing, audio mixing, working out and trying different foods.
