G. Scott Queen
Scott is a front-end developer for the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) Online Transaction Improvement, and U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service contracts as well as several of our internal applications, including Bixal.com.
Scott has a B.A. in art in-studio design from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in philosophy and aesthetics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is certified in front-end web development, a certified Scrum master, a project management professional, and holds a project management certification from Wake Forest University. Before joining Bixal, Scott worked as a sculptor and created an independent creative community for the Lowbrow art movement. He also created online digital experiences for the Mint Museums in Charlotte, and designed and marketed race car driver websites and car assets for NASCAR. Originally from Chattanooga, Tenn., Scott likes to work in his art studio, hike, sail and brew beer in his spare time. He also enjoys listening to lo-fi, chill-hop, jazz and jazz fusion. Scott volunteers for Pat's Place Child Advocate Center in Charlotte, N.C.
