Kayla Chumley

Graphic Designer

Kayla, one of our graphic designers, works on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s compliance process for its training modules as well as supports development of Bixal’s marketing materials.

Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Kayla earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from James Madison University. She previously worked as a design intern at a digital marketing agency, and as the media and publicity manager for a radio station in Harrisonburg, Va., where she had her own talk show. Kayla owns a LinkedIn Interaction Design: Interface certification. Her travels include a study-abroad program in London and a visit to Israel. In her free time, she enjoys hiking the Appalachian Trail and reading with a good cup of tea nearby. She volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and the annual Blacks Run river clean up in Harrisonburg. Her favorite artists are Noah Gundersen and Joni Mitchell, and hobbies include painting. Something you may not know about Kayla is that she can sing the ABCs backward.
