Maegen supports the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), specifically the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice.
Maegen has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University and is a certified government meeting professional. Prior to coming to Bixal, she worked in meeting support for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). A native of Manasquan, New Jersey, Maegen enjoys biking, gardening, going to the beach, spending time with her dogs, watching sports (“Let's go, Giants and Mets!”) and wine tasting. She loves music of all types, especially Foo Fighters, Pink, Chicago and the Doobie Brothers, and she’s run seven half-marathons, one of which she completed in two hours.
