Rachel is a product manager with Bixal. She co-owns the product vision for the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) ResilienceLinks and Agrilinks food security initiatives, as well as Bixal.com.
Rachel is originally from Anchorage, Alaska. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and fine art with a minor in chemistry from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. She received her master’s degree in business administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. Prior to joining Bixal, Rachel was a consultant for several companies and nonprofits seeking to maximize or incorporate positive social impact into their businesses and operating models. She also previously worked as a horse trainer. Rachel enjoys restoring furniture, rock climbing, cooking, attending art gallery openings and music festivals. She is passionate about impact investing, social justice and feminism economics.
