Shereen is currently managing the Libya Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Activity (LMELA) and Burma Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Services Support Activity (MELSA) United States Agency for International Development (USAID) projects.
Shereen is from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and earned her Master of Arts in international development studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Bixal, she worked for over seven years in nonprofits, community-based organizations and local government, focusing on protection, gender, youth and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) programming. She has a history of coordinating bilateral and multilateral donors, including USAID, the United Nations, the U.S. Department of State, foreign embassies and private foundations. Outside of work, Shereen enjoys hiking with her dog, cooking, traveling and kayaking. Her most exciting adventure was living in an elephant sanctuary in Thailand for three days.
