Courtney is a writer and editor with over six years' experience in Federal Government and STEM publishing. She enjoys the challenge of translating niche research content into clear language. Her previous work includes managing web content for the Department of Transportation's research website and editing medical textbooks.

Courtney earned a master's degree in history from King's College, London, and a bachelor of arts degree in literature from the University of Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she volunteers at the National Zoo, studies Korean, and spends time with her rescue dog.
