Karen is a writer, editor, and educator with 10 years of experience in government and higher education. She is passionate about translating complex ideas into readable language. Her previous experience includes working as a contractor at the National Institutes of Health to edit and format their annual Congressional Budget Justification, and as an adjunct professor teaching writing, literature, and research methods.
Karen earned her master’s degree in creative writing and publishing design from the University of Baltimore, and her bachelor’s degree in political science from West Chester University. She is a voracious reader and is eternally curious.
