Laura is a multi-channel copywriter and editor with 25 years of experience in communications strategy and deliverables. She supports Bixal’s business development initiatives and proposal development efforts, and she serves on a collaborative training and learning development team for a US Department of Justice (DOJ) national in-person and online training program.
Previously, as communications specialist, Laura provided strategic direction for national and regional communications policy and process and developing products for the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health’s National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities. She has supported other HHS agencies, the US Departments of State and of Education, DOJ, NIH, USDA, private firms, and political and community nonprofits.
Laura earned her BA in psychology from Lafayette College and her MA in public policy and women’s studies from George Washington University.
