Thom leads Bixal’s KM and collaborating, learning and adapting (CLA) portfolio with our international development clients and finds new opportunities to bring our experience and expertise to work in the sector.
Prior to joining Bixal, Thom worked with the Consultive Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) at the World Bank, leading efforts on a digital financial services learning marketplace. Before that, he was a senior knowledge management and learning advisor with USAID's Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning and worked in private sector consulting, including as chief of party of USAID’s Knowledge-Driven Microenterprise Development project. Originally from Georgia, Thom has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbus State University, a master’s degree in political science from Georgia State University and earned his MPA in international public service and development at Rutgers University. In his free time, he loves traveling, reading, meditating and drinking wine with his friends.
