Through his work as a senior analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) strategist, Thomas has been a key member of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) project since 2016. His work includes deploying a data-backed strategy to shape the information architecture and SEO directives for the SBA website relaunch, expanding his strategy and user experience (UX) roles. He spearheaded a user survey to collect crucial feedback in more than 17 languages, overseeing its evolution to help the SBA better understand COVID-19 relief user goals and pain points.
Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech, where he received the John Eure Award in Journalism for his graduating class, along with first place in sports writing from the Virginia Press Association. Away from work, Thomas enjoys creating new metrics to analyze football, writing and pitching freelance articles, making podcasts, talking poll data and biking.
