GSA STARS III IDIQ

General Overview

The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services (STARS) III is a multiple award Government Wide Acquisition Contract. STARS III is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that is set aside exclusively for 8a firms to provide commercial and non-commercial IT service and IT service-based solutions. The main NAICS code for STARS III is 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) but it also encompasses 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services), 541513 (Computer Facilities Management Services), 541519 (Other Computer Related Services), and 518210 (Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services). The contract has a five year base and one 3-year option period. The ceiling for all contract spend is $50 billion dollars. Buyers can sole source contracts up to the threshold for 8(a) sole sourcing. STARS is considered a Best In Class contract.
