Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor

Joselo is Bixal’s co-founder and strategic advisor. Combining his passion for technology and digital services, Joselo supports our organization through strategic planning and operations.

Originally from Mérida, Venezuela, Joselo attended the University of the Andes, where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science. He earned a master’s degree in international commerce and policy from George Mason University. Before he founded Bixal, Joselo delivered digital strategy services at the Inter-American Development Bank and worked as a digital transformation consultant for multilateral organizations and governments in Latin America. In his free time, Joselo enjoys cooking, reading, biking and gardening. He also supports promoting inclusive development and democracy in Latin America. One of Joselo’s most exciting adventures in life was hitchhiking in Venezuela in the 1970s.
