Sasha is currently the project manager for Bixal’s U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) project.
Although Sasha currently lives in Fairfax, Va., she is from a military family and grew up in Massachusetts, Nebraska and Germany. She earned a Master of Science in technology management from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Art in art from Virginia Tech. Before joining Bixal, Sasha was the technical solutions lead for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Center for Water’s Knowledge and Communications activity where she led the analysis, design and implementation of their public-facing website using an Agile framework in Drupal. Some of Sasha’s interests outside of work include cooking, wine, food, salsa dancing, hiking, camping, traveling and anything with her 10-year-old son. Sasha is also a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and is passionate about food policy in general, and specifically the Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry program.
