Vice President, Digital Transformation

Bob leads Bixal's digital transformation practice areas, working collaboratively with public sector agencies on improving organizational effectiveness and optimizing customer experiences through the strategic use of digital media and technologies.

Before joining Bixal, Bob led a wide range of digital transformation and enterprise modernization projects, applying human-centered design and digital strategies to improve the federal government’s effectiveness at delivering citizen services, supporting small business growth and strengthening the competitiveness of U.S. businesses overseas. He also founded and ran a business manufacturing and retailing artisanal personal care products which he eventually sold after a successful 10-year run.

Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, Bob earned both his bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in information and library studies at the University of Michigan. Outside of work, he enjoys a bucolic, dog dad life in Frederick County, Maryland, exploring a broad range of interests, including history, psychology, travel, mindfulness and meditation, craft beer and Mediterranean cooking.
