March 14, 2024

Bixal has been awarded a contract to provide collaborating, learning & adapting (CLA) and monitoring support services to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Regional Economic Growth Office (REGO) in West Africa. This task order under the USAID PPR EVAL-ME II IDIQ marks a significant milestone for Bixal and underscores its commitment to enhancing development efforts around the globe.

To support the new Collaborating, Learning & Adapting and Monitoring Platform (CLAMP) Activity, Bixal will establish a country office in Accra, Ghana, the company’s fourth international office. Under this activity, Bixal’s CLAMP team will provide a comprehensive suite of monitoring & CLA services to USAID/West Africa and its partners, through performance monitoring; learning agendas; learning events; knowledge management and adaptative management; engagement with regional and local institutions; strategic communications; and geographics mapping.

Thom Sinclair, Bixal’s vice president of knowledge management, organizational development, and learning (KMODL) emphasized the impact of CLAMP in development: “CLAMP offers USAID/West Africa REGO the promise of effective, actionable synthesis of disparate sources of data, reporting, and knowledge from an array of regional activities. This activity will contribute to the generation of evidence-based knowledge, inform future program design, and optimize the development impact of USAID funding for years to come.”

Bixal’s efforts will be supported by its lead partner, The Khana Group (TKG), as well as resource partners, Ducor Institute, Fraym, and ResilientAfrica Network (RAN). Together, they will equip USAID with high-quality data synthesis and knowledge for decision-making across 20 countries in the West Africa region.

The CLAMP task order is Bixal’s fourth award under the EVAL-ME II IDIQ mechanism and is the woman-owned small business’s first regional USAID CLA platform contract. This award signifies Bixal’s expertise in providing monitoring and CLA support and dedication to fostering sustainable development solutions.
